AD Integration

IntraNote® AD Integration provides single sign-on, which means that you are automatically validated and logged into IntraNote by means of the same login that you use on your existing AD network.

This provides you with the following advantages:
 • Existing user accounts, including user names and passwords, are reused
 • Users are automatically logged into IntraNote
 • New users are automatically created in IntraNote
 • The user list is always updated
 • Users can change their AD password via the intranet
 • Users can work remotely on the intranet

AD Integration reuses data from Active Directory, which means that user creations and modifications are automatically reflected in IntraNote.
In this ways, manual double entries are avoided, because the user list is automatically updated with master data from the AD, which may be extended even further by data from the payroll department via IntraNote Data Manager.

For remote users, it also means that they can log into IntraNote Portal Server with their AD password - without being logged into the AD domain. They only need to have web access to IntraNote.

The users can also change their AD password on the intranet and have the change reflected in the AD.
